HONG KONG TRAMWAYS REVITALIZATION

The project’s strategic vision shows how one of Hong Kong’s historical icons – the tramway or ‘Ding Ding’ – could be a catalyst for change through a bold reconfiguration of the urban and landscape fabric. It sets a new benchmark for urban liveability while fostering a sustainable economic model. It proposes a green alternative, reshapes a more efficient and diversified public transport system, and ultimately aims to help the city reconnect with its heritage. Our goal is not only to raise awareness of this public transport system, but to continue to explore the concept of sustainability and further make it a model of green energy.
